London Placard Headphone Festival

Le Placard London has got two headphone sessions this year, one at Cafe OTO on the 20th September and another at Shunt as part of the Netaudio festival on Friday the 24th October with a 3 hour headphone session in the Media Lounge. Bring your own headphones if you want to hear the music.

DVD installations

Palme d’Or nominated film maker Pia Borg and experimental audio visual artist Robin Fox are quality assets from the Australian underground.

The dvd installations “Palimpsest” by Borg and “Backscatter” by Fox are a welcome and valued addition to the Netaudio lineup.

Indian Jewelry added to the line up

We’re finally able to announce the secret guest on the Last.fm presents stage – Houston’s expreimental noise band Indian Jewelry.

Netaudio Ping Pong at Netaudio'08

Netaudio’08 wouldn’t be complete without one or two Netaudio Ping Pong sessions. You can catch them on Friday the 24th October – session times will be announced on the night.

Line-up addtions

As we draw ever closer to the festival we’re very excited to announce two more additions to the line up – Quip + Liz Ainge will be performing live on Wednesday 22nd October on the lounge stage and Stefan O will be djing on the lounge stage on Saturday 25th October.

Solo Banton to join Disrupt on Stage @ Netaudio'08 along with Hand Baked Arcade

Placard Headphone Festival 2008

Think of a festival in reverse … the London Headphone Festival is back with two sessions of headphones-only listening. Now in our fifth year, we leave our spiritual home off Brick Lane for two new venues. On 20 September we take over beautifully restored warehouse space Café Oto in Dalston for an all-day listening session. On 24 October, we move on to the legendary underground space Shunt, deep under London Bridge, as part of the 4-day NetAudio festival.
